The Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA) is responsible for facilitating the development and delivery of the biggest transport infrastructure program in Victorian history. MTIA is established as an Administrative Office under the Public Administration Act 2004 as a specialist organisation, comprising skilled and experienced staff across the various professional disciplines involved in transport infrastructure project delivery. Led by the Director-General, it has five key groups: Level Crossing Removal Project, Major Road Projects Victoria, the North East Link Project, Rail Projects Victoria and the West Gate Tunnel Project.
About the opportunity
The Marketing Manager (Maternity Backfill) works within the Office of Director-General to provide leadership, advice and support on marketing, branding, promotion and advocacy campaigns relating to the Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA).
Reporting to the Director Communications, the Marketing Manager provides leadership, advice and support on program-wide marketing, branding, promotion and advocacy campaigns related to MTIA projects.
The position is responsible for developing and implementing a brand to promote MTIA projects as well as a marketing strategy across the program, including working with project teams to maintain standards for branding and customer information across all projects. The successful candidate will have a reputation for collaboration and teamwork.
This role is employed by Rail Projects Victoria, working in the Office of the Director-General.

About you
To be successful in obtaining this role you will have:
- Highly developed organisational skills with demonstrated significant experience and success in managing multiple marketing campaigns and an ability to manage conflicting and changing priorities to achieve project and work outcomes.
- Highly experienced and technically proficient in the delivery of marketing campaigns with a demonstrated record of raising awareness and achieving behavioural change.
- Thorough understanding and demonstrated experience in current evidence-based product marketing practices including government standards.
