The Company

They invest in environmental markets including carbon, renewable energy, water quality and biodiversity conservation in some of Australia’s most threatened environments. Working with farmers, graziers and other land managers throughout Australia they identify the commercial opportunities on properties. Their objective is to diversify income streams and integrate sustainable opportunities into existing operations. They incentivise landholders to implement projects to enhance the properties productivity and income, whilst caring for the environment.
Commencing in 2008 they have run multiple projects adding a revenue stream to landholders. Highly focussed on building and maintaining positive relationships with their clients on site, they are dedicated to going above and beyond routine compliance and monitoring.
The Role
With demand growing there is now the requirement for an Area Sales Manager, flexible on location in WA to join the team. Reporting directly to the CEO you will be working closely with the senior management team on market growth, to ensure successful execution of the corporate and commercial strategy. This involves being the key contact on the ground to drive sales – seek and identify opportunities, negotiate and secure potential properties for carbon assessment, project design and implementation.
The Person
To be successful in this sales role you will ideally have:

  • Tertiary degree in agriculture, environmental science, commerce or economics
  • Sales track record in a commercial environment
  • Experience in dealing with livestock graziers
  • Project development / management experience
  • High level of motivation, be a self-starter and have mature approach
  • Well-developed relationship, and influencing communication skills
  • Sound planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Background in primary production, agriculture or natural resource management (NRM)
